These terms of use ("Terms") govern your use of the CorgiPlayer application ("Application") developed by laboloaf ("Service Provider", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

CorgiPlayer is a media player application for Android that allows you to play video and audio files from local device storage and network sources (SMB, SFTP, FTP, WebDAV). The Application also supports casting media to Chromecast-compatible devices.

The Application is available in two versions:

• Standard (free, ad-supported): Includes advertisements served by Google AdMob.
• Plus (paid, ad-free): No advertisements.

2. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to access and play the media files you use with the Application.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any credentials (server passwords) you use with the Application.
• You must not use the Application for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

3. Network Connections

The Application allows you to connect to your own network servers (SMB, SFTP, FTP, WebDAV). You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have authorization to access the servers you connect to.
• Any data charges incurred through your internet or mobile network connection.
• The security and accuracy of the server credentials you provide.

4. Intellectual Property

The Application and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by laboloaf and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Application.

5. Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services that have their own terms and conditions:

• Google Play Services
• Google AdMob (Standard version only)

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Application will be available at all times or function without interruption.
• All media formats or network protocols will be supported.
• Third-party services (Chromecast) will remain available.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, laboloaf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Application, including but not limited to data loss, inability to play media files, or network connectivity issues.

8. Updates and Termination

• We may release updates to the Application from time to time. Continued use may require you to install updates.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Application at any time.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Application ends and you should delete it from your device.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
