This privacy policy describes how laboloaf ("Service Provider", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the CorgiPlayer application ("Application") for Android devices.

1. What the Application Does

CorgiPlayer is a media player that streams video and audio files from the user's own storage, including local device storage and network sources such as SMB, SFTP, FTP, and WebDAV. The Application also supports Chromecast for casting media to external displays.

2. Information We Collect

The Application collects and processes the following information:

Information you provide directly

• Network server credentials: Server addresses, usernames, and passwords you enter to connect to your SMB, SFTP, FTP, or WebDAV servers. These are stored locally on your device in encrypted form and are never transmitted to any external server.
• Playback preferences: Settings such as subtitle preferences, playback speed, and audio/video track selections, stored locally on your device.

Information collected automatically

• Playback history: File names and playback positions are stored locally on your device to enable resume functionality.
• Device information: Basic device model and operating system version may be used locally for compatibility purposes (e.g., hardware decoder selection).

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your precise or approximate geographic location.
• We do not collect browsing history, page views, or session duration analytics.
• We do not use any analytics services (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics).
• We do not collect crash reports automatically. Any diagnostic information is only shared if you choose to do so manually.

3. Advertising (Standard Version Only)

The free (Standard) version of the Application displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device information and use advertising identifiers to serve relevant ads. For details on what data AdMob collects, please refer to the AdMob Privacy Policy.

The paid (Plus) version does not contain any advertising and does not include the AdMob SDK.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Google Play Services (casting)
• Google AdMob (advertising, Standard version only)

5. Data Storage and Security

• All user data (credentials, playback history, preferences, favorites) is stored locally on your device.
• Network server credentials are encrypted using AES encryption before being stored.
• The Application does not operate any external servers and does not transmit your personal data to us or any third party (except as described in the Advertising and Third-Party Services sections above).

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• You can delete all Application data at any time through your device's Settings > Apps > CorgiPlayer > Clear Data.
• Uninstalling the Application removes all locally stored data.

7. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us at contact@laboloaf.com so we can take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
